| Plot | Arthur Bishop is a precision instrument living inside a code no institution wrote for him. His detachment is total; every human contact is a transaction, even intimacy. When Harry McKenna's funeral drops Steve into his orbit, Bishop sees something recognizable and makes the fatal miscalculation of treating recognition as safety. He takes Steve into the work, shaping him, watching him absorb the philosophy faster than the techniques. The stakes tighten when the Organization signals Bishop has broken ranks. In Naples, with enemies closing in on two fronts, Bishop commits fully to a methodology he believes untouchable.
